Pintech SilenTrim is designed specifically to get rid of that annoying rim click when your stick hits the drum hoop. 

An added benefit with Pintech SilenTrim installed is that it also prevents your drum sticks from getting chipped up as fast, since they aren't being damaged when they hit the hoop.
