The Alesis DMPad 8 Inch Dual-Zone Pad is a velocity-sensitive drum pad that gives you natural dynamic response with a soft, rubber head for realistic feel and rebound.

The Alesis DMPad 8 Inch Dual-Zone Pads dual-zone sensing enables you to trigger sounds from the head as well as rim for rimshots or alternate rim sounds. It works with virtually all e-percussion modules and devices including the DM6, DM5, Trigger|iO, and ControlPad.

The is also a direct replacement/upgrade part for the Alesis DM6 kit snare trigger.
