The High-Hat Kick Box from RockBandKickBox allows you to use your ION Drum Rocker pedal or OEM Rock Band pedal as a HiHat pedal.  The "HH" interface seamlessly integrates ION, Alesis, or  Pintech cymbals to your ION Drum Rocker with adjustable sensitivity.

With your pedal down, a yellow signal is played (closed Hi-Hat) and with the pedal up, a blue signal plays (open hh or ride).  There is also now with 3x "boost" for plenty of headroom to adjust to your playing style.  (This can also be used with 3rd party cymbals such as the Pintech TC series and Alesis cymbals.)

When the footpedal is unplugged from the High-Hat Kick Box,  it defaults to normal play (yellow signal) as if the pedal was down. With an open/close electronic hi-hat, it plays yellow when the hi-hat is closed. There are 2 trims, to adjust yellow and blue cymbal sensitivity.    Using a stereo cable with a dual zone cymbal, the bow and edge will be mixed. 

The High-Hat Kick Box has a yellow and blue led, indicating the cymbal color in play, based on the pedal position.  (The blue cymbal signal is always active, if the pedal is not switched.)
