The RockBandKickBox Double KickBox double-pedal interface (with optional KickBox™ input port) is designed for use with OEM Rock Band and ION Drum Rocker pedals.  

The RockBandKickBox Double KickBox allows you to connect two(2) pedals to your drum kit to allow for double bass action.  Each pedal triggers a "kick" note regardless if the other pedal position.  Like the Rock Band Kick Box, it has a status led that flashes briefly when a pedal is pressed. (For PS3 ION Drum Rocker users, this box helps with the random disconnect issue using the ION pedal and the PS3 ION Drum Rocker due to static electricty.)
 
If you want the RockBandKickBox Double KickBox to function like the Rock Band Kick Box with an electronic kick trigger (Roland KD8, Yamaha KP-65, Roadie Kick Rocker, etc) select the additional port option.  This will allow you to upgrade or experiment with an electronic kick trigger at your leisure.  With this option,  you will have an extra kick input and sensitivity trim just like the Rock Band Kick Box.

*Be sure to notate whether or not you want the additional port added, otherwise it will not be.
