The HH + KickBox from RockBandKickBox combines HH and Kick functionality into one box.

KickBox

The right side of the box is the Kick Box™ interface which allows you to connect your ION Drum Rocker and Rock Band drums to your own electronic kick trigger. The HH + KickBox seamlessly integrates with Rock Band.

You now also have an Alt kick pedal input override to connect a rockband pedal. This is useful for getting into song category view or simply for guest players who want to use the OEM Rock Band pedal instead.
 

HH Kick Box™

The left side of the box is the HH interface, which seamlessly integrates ION and/or after market trigger cymbals to your ION Drum Rocker with adjustable sensitivity.

With your pedal down, a yellow signal is played (closed Hi-Hat) and with the pedal up, a blue signal plays (open hh or ride).  There is also now with 3x "boost" for plenty of headroom to adjust to your playing style.
